The latest by Toronto producer Slakah The Beatchild is a slight departure from his smooth soulful grooves as this track could easily fit into the early Jazzanova catalogue. Hawthorne Headhunters have dropped a ton of singles and mixtapes over the years but they have finally released their lp. "Myriad Of Now" does feature some tracks previously heard but never released. I've been giving this record a lot of burn since it dropped a few weeks ago and I'm really feeling the vibe of the duo known Thee Satisfaction. This Seattle based group's debut "Awe Naturale" is a quirky slice of psychodelic funk filled with superb compositions. I do have one gripe and that the album is way too short. It's approximate 35 mins and I wasn't ready for it to end and found myself spinning it once again. You might be familiar with the tune "Deeper" but at the moment I have "QueenS" on repeat. Just when I was uploading the tune I received the tastefully taste video. Check it out and get familiar by purchasing here.
